interesting

as is always the case with sythn strings they leave me wanting for the sound of a real violin also my left ear felt overwhelmed with that high violin in it. just a little unbalanced thats really it is. overall i like the ideas. good job

yeah i know what you mean with the strings, but the real violin sound sucks. since i'm using Finale Notepad, the midi instruments suck. But thank you for the review. I suggest you check out my other piece, Agony of the Ants, it's way better lol.

eh...

this was ok, a bit electronic sounding for grunge. I think its just the sound of this overall because the instruments are to fake sounding and are trying to hard to sound real to be electronic

yeah but it's hard to make a grunge sound with FL.especially in the time I made this song the newest FL was FL3.And really you couldn't do much better with FL3.

This is very good

This has very nice transitions and is a very smooth song overall. The only reason that this isnt a ten is because i felt that the melody was hard to find at times and i like to hear the melody but great job overall!

Its pretty good

This has a pretty good production value and has a pretty good melody. This singer is pretty decent as well. A bit cheesy for my taste but i guess its fitting for your girlfriend. Great job overall though

I know. If you look at my other stuff, it's usually dark, lyricless, electronic music. i paint soundscapes. this is simply for my girl

Hmm

It does have that thinking feeling to it that i guess invention has but it felt kind of weak at times in terms instrumentation. Also the violin sounds to much like a synth to me for it to fit with the other two instruments

The instrumentation was kind of intentionally limited.

My samples are cheap, not a whole lot to be done.

Further, it's worth noting that 'invention' refers to a specific type of composition.

I wanted this to go somewhere

I felt like it was building up but it never got there and it made me sad because this didnt come out of the well crafted shell that you made. Idk it just needed to go somewhere. Maybe a little more reworking and it could be a great song!

Sounds really good

This sounds really good one the song really kicks in past just the piano playing. I give this an 8 because for me the piano by itself is a bit annoying. im not sure what it is about that reverb but it bugs me

This is so well thought out and it sounds absolutely amazing. If this is your music is consistently this good i would say you have a career in movies ahead of you if you dont already do. great job!

some interesting ideas

i think this has potential but as possibly an idea to make it sound less electronic and more hip hop maybe replace that first instrument with like a pop orchestra string feel. this is just a suggestion because personally it feels like that should be a string part. of course idk if the program you used even has a good sounding midi orchestra.

This is good

This is really good but i dont mean to bag on the singer but he gets kind of whiny at times which doesnt work for me so much but i like the song overall
